Richard began his business career after graduating from North Dakota State University in 1975 with a  B.A. degree.  He then joined the family business, Snyder Distributing Company, and later founded Red River Window Company and merged the two companies.  He remained active as President  and Sales Manager of the companies for 30 years, and was fully integrated into the construction industry, retiring in 2001.  Upon retirement Richard pursued many volunteer activities.  He served as President of Peace Lutheran Church twice, Treasurer of El Zagal Shrine for seven years, and has been active in many community, civic and social causes.

Richard’s real estate experience includes property management, farm land leasing and commercial real estate leasing and sales.  His business background gives him the analytical fortitude necessary to make sound decisions and pay attention to detail ensuring every step of the transaction is done properly.  Richard knows how to listen to what the client desires, and will work diligently to produce the desired outcome, tapping into his common sense, perseverance, unyielding loyalty and sound judgement.  Richard treats his clients and customers with the utmost respect, and prides himself on exceeding his clients’ and customers’ expectations.  His responsiveness, creativity, and ability to efficiently evaluate, advise his clients and customers, has earned him their respect, and the respect of his peers.

As an owner of commercial property, Richard understands and has experienced both sides of the selling, leasing and purchasing positions associated with real estate.  He has “been there”, and can relate to any anxiety or frustration his clients and customers may experience, and will help to navigate them through those difficult times.

Richard takes great satisfaction in putting people together, where all parties can enjoy mutually benefitting relationships.
